1. Are BE | LIVING products tested for PFAS, PFOA and PTFE?
Yes. The tested BE | LIVING inner coatings were evaluated for PFOA, PFOS and total fluorine. Based on these results, TÜV states that the tested inner coatings are considered free of PFAS and free of PTFE / fluoropolymer coatings. PFOA and PFOS were reported as Not Detected within the laboratory’s stated detection limits.
2. What does “non-toxic cookware” mean for BE | LIVING?
The TÜV reports do not use the term “non-toxic” as a formal laboratory conclusion. Instead, BE | LIVING relies on specific third-party test results. The tested products were evaluated for substances including PFAS-related compounds, PFOA, PFOS, fluorine, lead and cadmium, with the relevant tests marked PASS and several substances reported as Not Detected.
3. What substances are tested in BE | LIVING cookware?
Depending on the product series, the TÜV reports include testing for PFOA, PFOA-related compounds, PFOS, PFOS-related compounds, total fluorine, lead, cadmium, total extractives and total chromium. For the Circlad and Essential Series Stainless Steel Black reports, extractable lead and cadmium were also tested.
